The Hospital Stay

After I delivered Liam, I was just in awe- and a little jealous that William was over there with him and I could not see him- I was so impatient waiting on them to let me have him. They finally let me have him and it was amazing. I don't quite remember the time frame of everything, but we went to the new room (the one you are in until you leave) and my mom and dad came and brought Logan- who, at first did not even want to look at him- it was very upsetting. Then, William's dad, sister and brother in law came. It was great to see everyone and a little overwhelming especially while we were trying to talk with Logan and get him to adjust some. My mom and dad brought Logan back the next day as well, so that was good. Other than that, we just hung out and we could not put him down. It was very hard for me to rest or sleep so we did put him in the nursery at night because he kept gagging and doing this thing like he could not breathe so I was scared to death to go to sleep. It did feel pretty good to sleep a little bit. I was clear to go home Sunday and we thought we were good to go but they wanted to keep Liam until Monday because of his bili levels. So, we finally got out of there Monday afternoon. I was so ready to go! We finally got home and my mom brought Logan home and it was so good to have everyone home. It took a good little bit to get in a routine and get Logan used to Liam.
