Easter!

Feeding the ducks down the street on the other side of the park with Daddy (the park is across from the house).

Oh my goodness what could be inside this egg?

THOMAS!!!!!

He also got a sword from my mom (foam sword).

Ace enjoyed salivating over squirrels through the window

Going to look for easter eggs. (This was Daddy's easter basket that my mom got him, but now I guess it will be Logan's until I find him the perfect one)

He was a natural! I was so proud of him! I really did not thing he would know what to do... but we just said get the egg and put it in he basket and he did! He just left it there for most of the time and kept putting them in!

We hid more eggs and did a couple hunts because he loved it. Then he realized the plastic eggs opened and it was over. He was obsessed with them!

What's ahead in April?

april
You know how you wait and wait on something good to happen and things will NOT go your way and you are like... OK God things have been going a certain way because they are a sign from you... then all of a sudden everything is culminating and you think oh ... ok... here it is... this is what God was making me wait for... it is all going to work out... right.. about... well crap... it didn't. GEEZ. Anyone. else. know. what. I. am TALKING about? Grrrrrr. Just makes me want to GRRRRRR. Anyway... moving on... I know God has a way of coming though JUST when it is HIS time... not mine... I love how LMM puts it comparing God's trust and patience to a Trapeze artist... as she states...

'The flyer must never try and catch the catcher,' the trapeze artist told Nouwen.  'He must wait in absolute trust.  The catcher will catch him.  But he must wait.  His job is not to flail about in anxiety.  In fact, if he does, it could kill him.  His job is to be still.  To wait.  And to wait is the hardest work of all.'  You may be in that very vulnerable moment right now- you have let go of what God has called you to let go of, but you can't feel God's other hand catching you yet.  Will you wait in absolute trust?  Will you be patient?  Waiting requires patient trust."  {I know God's other hand is there and will catch me in HIS Glorious time!!!!}

Well that is about summing up the past weeks... Moving on... the fourth and FINAL quarter of paramedic school is upon us! I am SUPER excited! This will probably {but hopefully not} be the hardest yet {for the mr.} for it contains the most clinical hours and he has to take this rediulous computer class. I forsee a ton of busy work- I hope I am wrong.
I am more excited about Easter than I think I have ever been! We are going to Tennessee for the long weekend (we have monday off) and we are going to dye eggs, have an easter egg hunt (now that Logan is old enough) and I am SURE we are going to go to the mr's fav restaurant... just the fact that we get to get away and be with each other AWAY from reality for a bit is amazing! If we could sell our house and live up there we would faster than you could say WHERE IS THE PACKING TAPE? Maybe one day? Though we would desperately miss our friends and church family!

I think that is about it! Hope everyone has an amazing April and lots of fun and hopefully more sun!

Logan's first Easter!

We would have loved to spend Logan's first Easter at our church but we decided to go to Alabama instead. We went and visited Gran and Papa (who is pretty sick and they cannot figure out what is going on) and William's Aunt and Uncle (with their 3 boys) came as well. It was really fun, we ate spaghetti and had an Easter egg hunt and egg toss. Logan had a lot of fun and here are some pictures.
