Today, March 24, 2009 is my last week of my first trimester. I am so excited to open the second trimester chapter of this journey. Yesterday was the first day that I have not been nauseated, so maybe all the rumors of second trimester bliss are true! I started and got caught up to date on my pregnancy scrapbook and am trying to keep up with my journal. We got our first baby gift from Mrs. Rowland and it is seriously perfect. It is a cute cow (my fav) with different textures that we are going to hang on his/ her car seat/ carrier thing. I also started my Beth Moore Esther book last night (thanks Danielle!) which was pretty amazing and I had a wonderful time with God. I also can't wait to do the study that William and I are doing together tonight. It is titled "Lord, Change my attitude" and we are looking at complaining and how it is a sin and we both can work on that (which I am sure everyone can). It is super hard to not complain especially while at work (for both of us). The workplace is filled with such negativity and you just want to join in and grumble with the crowd. So, I am especially trying to work on that this week. I am trying to find the positive side in the crappy situations that arise. I definitely want our child to be a positive light in this world and not fall into the traps of society. I think the biggest joy for us is that we get to raise our child in church, which neither of us had. We have only known church for a little over a year now and it has changed us so much for the better. I cannot wait until our child is up on that stage singing on Youth Night!
I love your updates on the baby...Just think our little ones will be growing up together.
