It has been a rough week!

Well, Wednesday our chocolate lab of over a year randomly decided to attack ace our black lab. It was horrible. William could barely separate them and even on "bed rest" I had to help get ace off of bubba. It was very traumatic for us. We had to end up taking ace to the vet because he had a puncture tooth wound on his arm (and later found another on the inside of his arm). They wanted to keep him overnight to make sure the wound did not swell or leak so we picked him up after my doctor appointment today. He is much better. We (with whatever hope we had left) decided to try to introduce ace and bubba with leashes in the back yard. It was fine for about 1 minute and then bubba tried to attack ace again. That was it. We knew at that point that we had to get rid of bubba. I cannot deal with them with me being pregnant and on bed rest. If William could barely separate them, there is no way that I could. So, we have been keeping them in different rooms and William took the rest of the day off so we could try and find him a home. Luckily, Kenny and Faith are going to take bubba. I am so glad and William is a lot better knowing that he is going to a good home. I really hope they love him as we do. It is very upsetting and this was "William's dog" so he is taking it very hard. Our dogs are like our children so just pray that we get through this (fast), especially for William. So, the blog should technically be "And Baby makes 5" but I just don't have the heart to change it. Plus since Auntie Faith and Uncle Kenny are now mom and dad, he will still be in the family, so I am keeping it the way it is. I pray that bubba works out well for their family.
