Northside... here we are.

So, I went to the doctor thinking it would be a regular appointment and then we would be on our way home, but no, of course it had to deviate from the norm. I had been majorly cramping since 4ish am and had a tiny bit of blood. Normally you would want to call in this situation, but since I already had an appointment and felt him moving, I just decided to go to the appointment early. So, we went (ate at Waffle House real quick- bc I did have some sort of feeling that this may be my last good meal). We went to the dr from there and there of course was blood in my urine and I had high blood pressure but instead of the fetal monitoring (which is what the Thursday appointments were) he did an ultrasound and then checked me and sure enough, I was 3 cm dilated. He sent me straight to Northside where he started me on the shots to try and stop the contractions (since I am only 33 weeks) and gave me the first shot of steroids to mature his lungs. The shots did not work, so they started the "last resort" IV of Magnesium Sulfate to stop the contractions. It slowed them down at first, then they came back but I don't know what happened overnight, so I will know more when the dr gets here. I feel like an octopus with so many things hooked up to me, but oh well... keep telling myself this is all for Logan and will be over soon enough. Honestly, I can deal with all the crappy feelings if it weren't for my severe headache/ migraine. All they will give me is tylenol and those of you who have migraines much less a headache knows tylenol does absolutely nothing. So, I seriously want to beat my head against the wall or pop it like a pimple just to get some relief. Oh well, that is all we know for now, just waiting to see what happens next. Take care.
