Update on the baby and me...

So, I went to the doctor Wednesday because there was decreased fetal movement and I just wanted reassurance that all was well. I originally had decided not to go, but I called them back and said, well it won't hurt anything to go and check. Good thing I did! I told everyone at work it would be about 20 minutes, little did I know that it could be a few months! So, they took my blood pressure at the dr office and it was too high... they made me lie down for 20 minutes and retook the pressure and it was the same/ a little worse. So, they hooked me up to the baby monitor and Logan looked good, so they sent me to the hospital (I went to the Northside office so all I had to do was walk across the breezeway to the hospital). So, here I am all of a sudden in the hospital getting hooked up to all sorts of things. William was on his way, but it was a bit weird being there... like I was not ready for this. My doctor told me best case scenario, I get over to the hospital and everything looks good and they let me go home. Worst case scenario, I am there until the baby comes. So, the blood pressures were all too high when I was at the hospital (I don't know what the readings were, but I know the machine kept beeping to alert them). So, they made me lie down and it was good and normal once I did that. I finally got to go home and the nurse said the way the doctor on call was talking, I would be on bed rest until I delivered. I did not want to believe this... so I was going to call the office Thurs morning. I did and that same doctor on call is the one who called me (bc I was his patient the night before) and said yes indeed I was on bed rest until the end. Then the nurse from the hospital said William would have to monitor my blood pressure, so he had been until I called the dr again bc it was so high yesterday and I didn't know if the office wanted to know or not... So, I got a call back from my doctor who said stop taking blood pressures (the only thing I can guess is that he wanted me to rest and not think about it?) So, I just am interested to see him Monday and see what exactly he says. So, I will update everyone once I know more... but that is all I know now. I got the dr to OK me going to church as long as I don't stand up and such, just sit there, so I will be able to at least get out of the house 2 days a week (for now)...
