So, Logan was in his pack-n-play and I was eating dinner while daddy was doing something down the hall... I heard a crunch looked up and what I thought was a toy was actually an ornament off the tree. Somehow he had reached the tree from his containment unit and bitten into it. He knows very well he is not supposed to touch the tree. Luckily I ran up and told him to spit it out and he did and I am almost certain he did not swallow any.
This is some of the blood that he got on his bib that he just happened to be wearing. I am glad he was wearing a bib (we are kinda past that stage where he doesn't wear bibs anymore) AND he had on a nice shirt that he wears to church, etc. So, after crying and prying his mouth open (which is NOT easy with a squirming, crying irritated little toddler) we decided that we would just wait and see how he was acting and if he was passing blood or anything else. I am pretty sure he scared us to death and this will just be the first of more to come.
Ahhh!!!! Well- maybe one day you can look back at laugh at this! But I'm glad he's ok and resilient!! :) P.S. Why doesn't it show your blog has been updated on my blogs I read thing?? It's driving me crazy
