I really do not like Valentine's Day... I don't know why. Just never have. Anyway... This year it fell on A shift so William was at work. Fine with me we neither had the funds nor did I have the energy to do anything. Well, I did make the coupon book that I referenced in a previous post (and tied it with a ribbon that I got off a chocolates someone gave me... I know kinda tacky resourceful!) So, nonetheless, I forgot that coupon book at work and William got up early (as usual) and left and told me he left me something by my keys. He had gotten into my scrapbooking stuff and made me a card! (this is not the first time he has done this but, wait for the message). I am only sharing the message with you because I guess we are all friends here and I have come a ways with Beth and So Long Insecurity.(Which I totally recommend this book!) So, here goes. This is the card my darling husband wrote to me. Of course there are lots of inside jokes/ humor and it stinks of rubber cement.
Bear-Bear,
I lerv you so much. You have been a great wife and mommy. I think me and Logan will keep you around for a while...(gee thanks... then he says some other stuff and oh here is the good part...) I look forward to a long life full of washing off your mustard and sour-cream crusted dishes and reminding you apply deoderant to your axillary regions. (Aww how romantic... Just so you know... I do keep a mini deoderant in my purse!)...
So there ya have it... the most awesomely unique home-made valentine's day card ever! I guess I will keep him around too!
Then, I got the most AWESOME present from Logan... he, Avery, and Mrs. Gina had a craft day and they made these! That totally made my day! Then we went home and had Bible Study with the girls! What a great day!
