Oh it was an AMAZING weekend (besides the fact, I really have not seen my husband...maybe soon!)!!!! Friday, I came home from work and picked up my wonderful handsome Logan. I really can't remember what we did... I am sure it entailed some sort of jumping-on-mommy that is his favorite sport! Then, Saturday, we did get to see daddy for about 30minutes, then he went to work the Cherry Blossom Festival in Conyers... Logan and I ate breakfast together (one of my favorite things), then we jumped on the bed got dressed and went on our journey to Macon. I think this was my first trip there... We were going for Jacob's first birthday party... Jacob is my friend Jennifer's little handsome man. He is the cutest thing in this world and I miss Jennifer so much! And, I am LOVING birthday parties! How awesome to ACTUALLY have some grown-up conversation! Logan did very well! I was very proud of him... Yes, my child usually makes a scene if he does not get what he wants... he is very head-strong. But, he played well, was on the go non-stop and mostly sat still while other people opened presents (this is a huge deal!)
Don't you just want to squeeze him and give him so many hugs and kisses? I do!
This is his pouty face... he would do this every time he got upset.. Do you blame him... His is still super cute with the frowny face...
I finally got through the monsoon and tornado warnings to get home Saturday afternoon about the time William got home from work so we played with Logan until it was bedtime and then we crashed ourselves...
Sunday was great as well... we taught Sunday school and did a lesson on God being the Shepherd and how we are the sheep so we made hand print sheep! (Like the one below) It was super fun and much better than the normal coloring that we are directed to do...
Then the rest of the day we pretty much chilled and played with our boog, until he got up from his nap, we were going to the grocery, I realized we had a flat tire (again), Wm fixed it, we continued to the grocery, and Logan was (surprisingly) very good during the whole trip especially since it was after his dinner time... got home, fed the hungry lion and we went to bed. It was such a great weekend... I am so thankful for it... and that Logan was so good... not that he usually isn't he is just usually more fussy throughout the day and get's into more "illegal" items that he knows he should not.. So there was a LOT less of that and it was SO nice and a TON less stressful!!! I could REALLY get used to this!
