I love the way He holds me

I love this song. One of my current favorites. Isn't it so true when she says,
"Oh I love the way you hold me, by my side you'll always be,
You take each and every day, make it special in some way.
I love the way you hold me, in your arms I'll always be,
You take each and every day, make it special in some way.
I love you more than the words in my brain can express,
I can't imagine even loving you less, LORD, I love the way you hold me!
Well, you took my day and you flipped it around,
calmed the tidal waves and put my feet on the ground.
Forever in my heart, always on my mind
It's crazy how I think about you all of the time!

I love this song because it is so true and it can give some perspective. God is ALWAYS there to be by our side! He will never leave nor forsake us! For those of us (like me) who may not understand what that means, it means when you are acting silly and making horrible mistakes, He will be there to hold your hand and get you through it. He loves you through that too.... even when you are being ugly and not quite doing those things you should. It means when you think you have no friends to call, to talk to, to hug... what sweet wonderful Glory that He is right there with you to hold you, comfort you, and catch your tears in His nail-scarred hands. He is the only one who will ever hold you with the most purest of love, comfort and non-judgement. And, does He not make each and every day special in SOME way? Besides the simple fact that He gives us the blessing to take the first breath each morning? We (if we do get past that first blessing) get the second blessing which is the chance to Glorify God. Somehow throughout the day we have chances to make each and every day special in some way- special by Glorifying God. How? Well, that is up to us! We also get the chance to tell others about Him! What a wonderful way to spend each precious breath He has given us! When we get upset or something happens to one of the many balls we seem to be juggling ever so precariously in the air- all of the other balls seem to come crashing down- you know what happens? He is right there! He can catch the rest of the balls so that they don't come crashing onto us. And if for some reason they do hit us- and they will at some point- He will be there to hold us, catch our tears and guide us, one foot in front of the other to where He is leading us to become stronger to fulfill His will.
