The "Elf on the Shelf"

So, we started the Elf on the Shelf this year... I looked up all these awesome things to do with your elf around October, had great plans, etc. Dropped many hints to my mom to purchase the elf, and wanted to make sure we had the elf by December 1 (well actually Noverber 30) so that we could start the first day of December. Well, time came and we had no elf ... I was bound and determined not to spend any money on the elf. First, the mere fact that he was a fixed cost, much like tempurpedic beds and such so you could not get him on sale anywhere. Also, he is a little creepy and I refused to pay full price for him. So, we did what any cheap-out-of-her-mind mom would do... we dealt with what we had. We named him "rein-bear" because he is a bear dressed up as a reindeer? I don't know that is what I came up with on the moment. Anyway, I failed to get pictures every day, but here are some of the pictures of what rein-bear did over-night. Our rein-bear was not mean or such he just did "silly" things or hid...

He came down and started looking for him... It is funny how you don't really see how grown up he looks until you see pictures (at least for me)... *tear*...

He found him!!!!

Silly rein-bear was watching tv during the night!

Then, he got into some hot chocolate!

Then, he made a snow-angel!

Then, he hid in Logan's stocking

And, later that evening, he brougth him "Scared Shreckless" which we proceeded to watch at least 5000 times!

He hid in his legos...

Tried to light the candles...

Then, on the last night (Christmas eve), he rode away on the reindeer to go tell Santa that Logan was good!
