So a little bit ago, William decided to change his diet. Not "go on a diet" but change his habbits. Like, a lifestyle change. He was doing so well then kinda laxed a little. It surely was difficult seeing me eat whatever so I understand. This weekend, we decided to start again. I am doing it now too. Again, a lifestyle change not a "diet". So, it will be difficult to have this paradigm shift, per-se, but I know it is time for me to do it. Basically, little to-no carbs, some fruit *but not too much since fruits are sugars*, as many veggies you want, protein, tons of water, etc. So, here is my first day's worth of food...
Ton of water- I add the MiO flavoring... I love it because it is like watered down tea which is what I do with tea anyway... so, it is kinda awesome and helps me drink water.
Breakfast- hard boiled eggs
AM Snack- Small apple (I slice mine thin) and a little peanut butter cup.
Lunch- spinach wrap with chicken, spinach, lettuce, cucumber, green peppers, tiny ffmayo and mustard.
PM Snack- small amount of ffcottage cheese and small handfull mix of pecans & walnuts
Dinner- baked asparagus, salad with chicken
I am excited to start because I eat so unhealthily. I need to be healthier for my husband, Logan and myself. I am hoping that Iwill also feel better after a bit. Oh, and there is 1 day a week that is your cheat day when you can eat anything and everything you want- kinda keeps your metabolism guessing so it does not get in a rut. And, who knows, I may get crazy and add in some light exercise (Don't laugh too hard)!
