God is awesomely amazing and hillarious!

Don't you think so? I do. He provides us with these "learning opportunity exercises" or as we too often refer to them as mountains we are climbing or valleys we are stuck in... I think too often, for me anyway, I forget how thankful I am that He has not forgotten about little me. To give me a learning opportunity or just another experience to make sure I keep focused on Him. Do I fail- too often, yes. But, thankfully, He is a forgiving God and that is that part that makes Him "Awesomely Amazing"! Want to know the part that makes Him hillarious? Well, in a nut-shell I learned the day before we went on vacation that I (basically) broke my foot in 2 places and had to be non-weight bearing until further notice. So, picture me on crutches in the sand. [Hillarious] Did I fall [yes- of course] So, we go on vacation, blah blah, get back just to have car issues of almost $1k. [well, I am so glad we just went on vacation, right?] then the friday we get back (after a all-too-lovely procedure which they had to do twice) find out I have to have surgery. [so, those of us keeping track, we are now up to car $, foot $, gyno surgery $ and since we went on vacation no pay at work= no pay $ while out for surgery]

[Ironically Hillarious]

So, I think it is just a known fact that we are never EVER going on vacation again. Just kidding, but it is just hillarious how all this seems to happen! God is so funny. But, we know that all this happens for a reason and that He knows how to tie things up in a neat little package of awesome called life! Mr. Tony said something in Sunday School and it just made me laugh so hard... something along the lines of "ya know what you get in the mail when you pay off your bills?" MORE BILLS! And, it is so true! William had his ACL surgery last August and I am not kidding when we had more than 12 seperate bills. We finally got all those taken care of then I go and hurt my foot. Then at the same time, my 3-in-1 surgery (which we haven't even gotten all the bills for yet)! Just the EOB which was over $21k so hopefully the real bill will be a little less than that! But it is true. I have no idea why God had this plan for us but I do know that He knows and that is all that matters. All our job is to hold on tight and enjoy the ride! So, we shall praise Him as we are blessed with this RIDE!
