Phase 1 of Logan's Room!

There is a sunflower field on the way that we stopped and took pictures... So beautiful and just another picture of God's wonderful things here on earth.

To the left... the "desk" will have a changing pad and this will be his changing station/ table.

To the right of the doorway/ window... Logan's crib will go between the chair and dresser (with some adjusting of the furniture)

Last weekend (June 19-21) William, my mom and I went to Tennessee (Alcoa to be exact) to get a bedroom set for Logan. The set was my great grandmothers and was at my grandmother's house in Tennessee, thus we tracked up there with the moving truck to get it... We got everything you see in the room (the glider, end table next to the glider, dresser, desk with chair (there is a mirror that goes on top of the desk that is in the attic) and a full size bed with head board/ foot board (also in the attic) and the armoire with the TV on top of it)... The drawers are open in the picture to try and rid the old furniture/ grandma's house type smell... (any suggestions of ridding the smell would be great!). But, we of course have a ways to go filling up the room and decorating but, thought I would go ahead and put up the before pics... And, the beach scene on the wall is not staying (don't think it quite goes with the jungle look!). We are so fortunate and blessed to have received all this furniture (and 2 book cases- 1 for downstairs that can have Logan's books on them, 1 that will go upstairs with all of our books on them, and our china cabinet thing for the dining room). Our dining room looks much better and not as naked with some furniture in it, we can finally get the book on a book shelf as opposed to stacked on the floor like they are now, and Logan's room is finally coming together (which makes this whole experience so real and starting to realize we really are about to have a baby!). I cannot wait to get a crib and the bedding to start decorating and to get some clothes and diapers to fill up the drawers! AHH I am so excited and thank the Lord for all His many blessings and all the wonderful things to come.
