We are officially in the third trimester!

It seems like yesterday I blindly went to the doctor due to a pair of certain body parts hurting like crazy... I cannot believe that it has been 6 months since that day I found out I was pregnant. It has gone by so fast and I can only imagine the next 3 months much less 18 years will go by even faster. So far, no major issues... I have the typical haven't slept in 6 months, back, legs, and feet are swollen and hurt, up all night tossing and turning from bad nightmares or acid reflux, constant headache, mad then crying type stuff going on but all that fades away when I feel him kick, punch, or wiggle around. It is so worth every ache (plus I know that it could be much worse)... Logan is such a mover and a shaker. He is very active now (unless you go to get someone to feel him, then he is shy). I love feeling him move inside me and wouldn't trade that feeling for the world. He can keep me up any night (as I am sure he will soon take full advantage of). My next appointment is July 29 for the 28 week glucose test (which I will actually be 29 weeks)... so I am hoping and praying that I pass the one hour test because the 3-hour test was brutal... I am not sure what else will go on at that appointment, but I am excited with anticipation. In other news, our two year anniversary is this Saturday. Since we have no extra money, I have been trying to come up with ideas on what to do and there are some things to do around here but I am to the point mentally, emotionally and physically that I just need to get away. So, we are going to go to my grandmother's house in Tennessee and chill there for the weekend. My mom is coming too (so she can pay for gas and other great things :) )... so William, my mom and I, along with Ace and Clyde (her dog) are going to shove into my car and leave Friday after work. I am so excited and cannot wait... this is a much needed mini vacation. And, thanks to Danielle, I think we are going to go to Cades Cove near where we will be. So, that will be very nice (and inexpensive!). I am just so glad to get away for a bit, even if we do have to stop every 15 minutes for bathroom breaks!

  1. Have a great trip and Happy Early Anniversary. I posted a comment on your post below but it didn't take... I said much more than I am about to post, but I think this is the most important... Just let God take control and you will be amazed at how things just flow. One of my favorite scriptures.. "Be still, and know that I am God" Psalms 46:10. This scripture is so comforting to me. Be safe!!!
