Here is Bambi, she was not excited about all the baby stuff... I keep telling her she is about to not be the baby anymore! And after 2 days of the balloons from my baby shower being in the living room, she finally noticed them and would not stop barking at them! She is so silly!
This is everything I got from my shower on Friday...
I had a couple duplicate gifts to return and purchased the animal onesies. My mom got the onesies on the top and three on the bottom and the scrapbook stuff (but I can't get the gifts until my shower on the 22nd).
The shark onesie is going to be his coming home from the hospital outfit! It has a cute little shark on the backside!
My mom got the grandma one for her and the pirate one for William...
It took us forever to find a stick that would lay flat enough to the wall in the two places we needed to hang the stick. The ants attacked me and it was a huge ordeal, especially my mom with the ax but I think it turned out well (I am going to replace the random elephant with a monkey that will hang from the stick... I just need to find a monkey!)
Logan's name above the changing area (which will look more like a changing area once we get a changing pad and a basket or something for the diapers, ointment, etc.)
outfits I got from the stuff I returned... and cute little brown shoes
The cow outfit I picked out (I am obsessed with cows!) it is the cow print onesie, khaki pants with a milk bottle on the back, and a cow face bib...
William also got some stuff during our shopping spree... we called it "operation daddy" or "operation make daddy sophisticated"... he got a nice pair of khaki and black pants, some dressy shirts and some tennis shoes and a pair of dressy shoes for church... William only has old T-shirts and cargo pants... every time we had a little extra money, he let me go shopping for outfits for work or maternity stuff... so my mom (with the help from Kohl's' sales, the tax free holiday, and a Kohl's coupon) bought him the beginnings of a new wardrobe. I am so thankful for all her support! While William went to the rafting trip with church on Saturday, my mom had spent the night Friday so we could get an early start. We got up around 5:30am and got ready, took care of the dogs, then we were off... Our first stop, Waffle House! After a yummy breakfast, we went to Kohls... I love that place (not for me, they don't have any pants in talls) but for shoes, baby stuff and mens, they have a ton of great quality clothes for a very affordable price. After spending 2 hours there, we went to Michaels for some ribbon for Logan's name to hang in his room... Then Old Navy (in hopes they had some maternity stuff... which they didn't... but I got 2 shirts that were poofy around the belly that will hopefully fit for a while. They were half off and I had a 30% off coupon... so that was nice!)... next stop, Belk where my mom had to find a dress and some other outfits for her cruise in September... I keep kidding her that Logan is going to come right while she is gone... we will see! After Belk, we went to Walmart to return some stuff and purchase some replacement outfits for what we returned and then target... I received two sets of the same blankets so I returned one and got my first pack of diapers! I don't feel so unprepared now! I have diapers and wipes (to at least last a couple days)! By the time we left target it was around 2:30pm and we were extremely exhausted! So, to finish our day, we went to the nail salon and got manicures and spa pedicures! It was such an amazing relaxation time especially after the tiring, yet fun day! I am so thankful for all the gifts for Logan from my shower on Friday, from my mom, and everything my mom purchased for William and myself, the relaxing nail treat and all her help with chopping the tree limb and helping put Logan's room together... We are so blessed to have such amazing friends and family and everything seems to be coming together slowly but surely!
I love Logan's room, so cute! Also, not all Old Navy's have maternity, so you have to search online for it specifically.
