Weekend Wrap-up

What a beautiful weekend!!! The weather was so gorgeous (which is surprising considering the torrential downpours that have been occuring). Well, first, EARLY Saturday morning, we drove to my mom's house where my mom, Logan and I did our Knock Out Cancer 5K...it was so much fun! It was Logan's first 5k and I think he liked it! We started almost dead last because my mother had to stand in line forever for the bathroom, thus we started late. Then, the stroller wheel came off as we were going down a hill... NOT FUN! That took a few good minutes to fix... then we finally finished... They said it was a flat course. Well, let me just tell you, THEY LIED!!!!

After the race was over (which we saw one of my friends and sisters from college - Kristi - which was so good to see her! And, she ran/ jogged the race in like  1/3 the time we did! SO PROUD of her and her accomplishments to come!!!!) we then went back home to my mom's house but on the way we stopped at the park...

If it were not for my mom letting him in the sand, I definitely would NOT have let him in there!!!!

After the park, we went to my mom's house, ate lunch and just hung out until it was time for Katie's (Wm's sister) Bridal Shower! My mom watched Logan while we went and it was great! We are so happy for Katie and Justin! (wm would not let me take my camera, thus no pics)...

After, that is was later, we came back, got Logan and went home... the dogs thought we left them forever!

Sunday was another Joy-Filled Day! It started with the morning routine that I love... then Church- after Church, we headed up to Cumming. We went and got Logan some pictures done with Cory Lamb Photography and she was AWESOME. She had chicks and lambs and the lambs were to die for!!! SO CUTE! Cory was great and I cannot wait to see the pictures! I REALLY hope there is one good one of the three of us for our wall somewhere! After that we went across the stree to a school and played on the playground for a bit...

After we played for a second, we went a little further to Dahlonega and met my friend and sister Dena and her husband Richard on the square and walked around and then had dinner! It was so good to see her and figured since we were up there, might as well get together with them! We went and saw their "new" house that they will be closing on this month!!!! And their current house that is literally right around the corner in the same neighborhood. So, at least they won't have to move far! SO HAPPY for them and this new chapter in their life!
